NGK Spark Plugs has picked up a prestigious aftermarket award. The supplier of original equipment spark plugs, glow plugs, and NTK Lambda and other engine management sensors has been presented with A1 Motor Stores’ 2017 Component Product of the Year award.

The award was made at the A1MS Convention which was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The buying and distribution group encompassing independent retailers and motor factors presented the award to NGK Spark Plugs Sales Representative Ray Nicholson in front of 150 A1MS members and supplier representatives.

Kym Smith, Product Manager, A1 Motor Stores, said, “It was a great achievement by NGK to win the component award for the second year in a row. When our members’ votes were counted we found it was almost a whitewash as almost all of them had voted for NGK.”

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs said, “We are delighted to have received this coveted award for a second successive year. As a company, we have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with A1 Motor Stores and its members over many years and look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.”
