First Line has introduced an innovative new suspension solution for the rear trailing arm bush on the Mk IV Ford Mondeo to meet the needs of technicians.
Historically the suspension system on this vehicle has presented a challenge to garages because the failure of the rear trailing arm bushes has meant that the complete trailing arm has had to be replaced. As a result, not only did the job become very expensive to carry out, but also the whole arm has had to be discarded, although it has been only the bush that has actually worn. To make things worse for independent garages, the complete assembly is only available from the franchised dealer.
First Line say they have now resolved this issue and can offer customers a solution in the form of both left and right-hand replacement bushes, which will allow the independent garage to finally take full advantage of this work.
These bushes, FSK7360 (LH) and FSK7361 (RH) are available immediately and also fit Ford Galaxy/C-Max and Volvo S60 II/V70 III applications. Full details are available via the First Line WebCat.
