Factor chain Auto Care has made an important addition at its Dun Laoghaire branch with experienced parts specialist Noel O’Brien joining the team. 

Noel says he is delighted to returning to his local area and is already enjoying working in the busy factor outlet, looking after both trade and retail customers. 

He has been involved in the car parts business in various roles since he was sixteen, meaning he now has well over 30 years experience.  

Noel says, “I have always worked in motor factors or distributors and love the challenges that it brings. There have certainly been lots of changes over the years and vehicle technology has been developing at an incredible rate in recent years. Aftermarket suppliers have done an incredible job keeping up with changing demand patterns and the choices and options now on offer are first class.”

As Noel recalls that when he started out many aftermarket parts ranges were quite limited, but now the range of parts and different suppliers that has developed means that almost everything is available for garages. He comments, “Now when a garage is looking for a more rare part we almost never have to say no. It means we can find a solution to just about any problem and this is an area of the business that provides a lot of satisfaction.” 

Noel adds, “It is also great to join the Auto Care team. It is a very progressive company that really looks after it customers.”
