Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG launched a number of new products at the Equip Auto show in Paris, including new MEYLE ball joint kits for Peugeot 407/508 and Citroën C5/C6 and an expansion of its MEYLE-HD control arm range.

Paris provided the perfect venue to launch the new MEYLE ball joint kits for key models from Peugeot and Citroën. The kits for Peugeot 407/508 or a Citroën C5/C6 models contain all parts required for a high quality repair including the mounting material and a seal ring made form stainless steel.

If the ball joint on Peugeot 407/508 or a Citroën C5/C6 models requires replacement the likely root cause is dirt or moisture penetrating the ball joint causing corrosion on the axle journal and seal ring protective rings. Seal ring wear allows moisture to seep into the bushing and damage it. The MEYLE kits are designed to eliminate this frequent cause of part failure by providing workshops with an all-in-one solution from a single source. The seal ring used on MEYLE ball joints is made from stainless steel. It is mounted between the wheel hub carrier and ball joint to eliminate contact between both parts and prevent early wear of the ball joint's rubber component.

The new MEYLE ball joint kits for Peugeot 407/508 and Citroën C5/C6 models are available under the MEYLE part numbers 11-16 010 0018/S (w/o guiding suspension ball joint) or 11-16 010 0019 (w/ guiding suspension ball joint).

Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG also announced an expansion of MEYLE-HD control arm range at Equip Auto. New MEYLE-HD parts are now available for the Nissan Qashqai I (02/07-), Nissan X-Trail (T31) (03/07-) and Renault Koleos (09/08-). These components come with a four-year warranty and are extremely durable allowing independent workshops to offer high-quality repairs for an even wider range of vehicles.

The MEYLE-HD control arms for Nissan and Renault models feature an optimised design and a rubber compound specially formulated to increase part life. Thanks to the inner sleeve's geometries, critical tensile stresses are significantly reduced. Extensive in-house test also show that the parts offer a service life beyond the OE equivalent.

The new MEYLE-HD control arms for the Nissan Qashqai I (02/07-), Nissan X-Trail (T31) (03/07-) and Renault Koleos (09/08-) are available under the MEYLE part numbers 36-16 050 0007/HD and 36-16 050 0008/HD respectively; the bushing fitting all three models is available under the MEYLE reference 36-14 610 0010/HD.
