Automotive aftermarket manufacturing and distribution company Klarius, has announced that it has bought the Quinton Hazell Group (QH) from the US-based Affinia organisation.
QH has headquarters in Leicester, in the UK and manufacturing and distribution operations in France, Germany, Italy and Spain as well as a significant presence in Ireland. Klarius says the acquisition of QH will bring together a significant range of aftermarket and OEM brands while pooling manufacturing resources and distribution networks. The new operation will have a combined turnover in the region of £350 million, which it hopes to see rise to half a billion through further acquisitions.
Klarius' chairman, Tony Wilson commented “This acquisition is ideal for both companies, as Quinton Hazell products are largely complementary to the existing Klarius range – with very little crossover.”
