Japanparts unveils new expanded shock range
Share:

The Japanparts Group was placing a special emphasis on the expansion of its shock absorber range at Automechanika Birmingham. The recent expansion of the range means it now covers some 94% of European vehicles on the road.

Japanparts say that driver knowledge about the importance and role of shock absorbers is very limited. They are also not used to recognising signs of worn or faulty shocks and this makes it vital for garages to check them every 20,000 km. The International Research Institute GiPA says that life expectancy of shock absorbers is around 60 to 80,000 km and after this they can create dangers in terms of handling and braking distance.

Japanparts Group has seen a dramatic growth in its shock sales in recent years and has recently opened a warehouse dedicated to the range, which features some 1,600 part numbers. In recent months 300 new numbers have been introduced to further boost coverage. The range is, as you might expect very strong on Asian brands, but also offer excellent coverage on European and American models including the VAG Group, FCA Group, Renault Group (Renault-Nissan-Dacia), PSA Group, BMW, GM, Mercedes, Subaru, Toyota and Volvo. Among the most recent additions there are Cadillac, Hummer, Land Rover, Smart, Piaggio and DR.

All shocks are made using only high quality components and materials. The stem features high-resistance chrome plating and NOK o-rings which are long lasting and noted for their excellent sealing properties.

All Japanparts shocks are well packaged for space saving and easy product identification and are competitively priced.
