The views of a local independent repairer, a global collision repair network, a vehicle manufacturer and an insurer are just some of the fascinating insights IBIS Ireland 2018 is set to offer attendees.

The sessions, part of IBIS Ireland 2018 which is backed by lead partner AkzoNobel along with partners Audatex, Fix Auto and Synergy, will see leading influencers from across the industry discuss the market forces impacting on the local sector.

David O’Connor, head of aftersales for Kia Motors Ireland will provide delegates with an insight into the evolving automotive landscape with his session ‘Open your mind to change’. David explained, ‘While change may raise many questions, the idea is that we should start the thought sharing process of what could happen sooner rather than later.’

David is one of an influential line-up of speakers set to take to the stage at IBIS Ireland. Also on the agenda is Barry Sheehan Phd researcher at the University of Limerick, and Morgan Stewart, chief motor engineer/claims supply chain manager, RSA Ireland. Salvage and training will also come under the spotlight.

The event will also see two disparate repair models discuss their perspectives on the sector with Fix Auto’s Graham Kresfelder, responsible for global strategic development within the franchise network, taking to the stage alongside Frank Byrnes, owner of Galway based Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs.

IBIS Ireland 2018 takes place at Hilton Dublin, Charlemont Place on 15 May. Tickets for the event are available online at http://ibisworldwide.com/ibis-ireland-2018-booking-form/ or via email to poppy@bodyshopmag.com and include access to the full day’s conference (10.00 – 17.15), refreshments including lunch, and a post-conference drinks reception.
