A series of live webinars has extended the range of technical support services available to Gates distributors and their garage customers. The live webinars will be featured on  GatesTechZone, the company’s website for expert technical information.

As a part of Gates’ continued commitment to support garages and ensure installers are informed about innovations and new product developments, the technical webinars will supplement the content already available on the GatesTechZone, including Tech Tips, videos and problem and diagnoses support.

Gates technical support and data manager Sam De Win said, “The new technical webinars available on GatesTechZone enable our company to add even more essential, job-useful technical information, and broadcast it to a much wider audience. Adding webinars to the Gates training portfolio not only allows our distributors the ability to offer increased technical support to their garage customers, but will aid in the elimination of common fitting errors and comebacks.”

The initial webinar series will cover a wide range of subject areas and regional-specific installation challenges. These include water pump installation/problem diagnosis, modular hoses, coolant evolution, Gates Stretch Fit belts and tools and, the complete accessory belt drive and synchronous belt drive system. Content and topics may vary according to local requirements. Running times are between 30-90 minutes per event and will be broadcast in English, German, Russian and Turkish with Dutch, French and Spanish language offerings to follow.

Visit the GatesTechZone website to view a schedule of forthcoming dates and register for preferred events. Participants will be able to contribute during webinar broadcasts via the online ‘Chat’ function, and can raise questions or even suggest topics for future events.
