The Garage Inspector, Andy Savva, has announced revised dates for his forthcoming two day Financial Understanding and Service Reception Management course in Dublin. The course will now take place on the 11th and 12th February, 2020, at the Aspect Hotel, Park West, Dublin 12.
The course has proved very popular with garages both across Ireland and the UK, so early booking is recommended.
Day one of the course focuses on financial understanding for a garage business, including how to interpret key facts, understand financial terms and confidently discuss issues that affect the garage’s finance, interpret the 2 key financial statements, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet and look at the importance of cash flow. It also looks at key performance indicators, business costs, the importance of labour rates and margins and mark-ups.
The second day of the course covers customer excellence and service reception management. This covers all aspects of service reception best practice and providing first class customers service, including perception, effective measurement, positive body language and customer care on the phone. It then moves on to provide advice on how a garage can build a brand, fill gaps in service and develop methods of creating a great customer experience. Andy says the course follows clear techniques to help manage difficult customer issues effectively and even clearer techniques for avoiding them in the first place
Lunch and refreshments are provided on both days.
