First Line has been named as the United Aftermarket Network (UAN) supplier of the year for 2012, following the buying group's recent trade show at the Madejski stadium in Reading.

The United Aftermarket Network is one of the UK’s leading motor factor buying groups, offering business support services and improved group purchasing terms.

Commenting on the award, First Line Managing Director, Dan Joyner said: “To be recognised as a valued supplier by a single customer is encouraging, but to be awarded with the supplier of the year accolade on a corporate level by an important buying group, is a real achievement for the whole First Line team.” He added, “As many UAN members will be aware, we have built the business by adhering to our four core principles of availability, range, service and quality. These building blocks have allowed us to develop long-standing relationships with many of our customers, and we see our business with the UAN in just the same way.”
