Aston Martin may be paying lip service to the latest thinking that cars need to be smaller, slower and more economical with its new Cygnet, but it is also staying true to its roots with another more exclusive model.

The limited-edition One-77, will be launched this year with only 77 examples being made. The One-77 has a 7.3 litre V12 engine and uses lots of carbon fibre to save weight. This means that on recent tests the car was recorded at over 220mph.
