Equip Auto 2009 will take place from 13th to 18th of October at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.

Equip Auto remains upbeat about an upturn in the automobile market. A business and industry networking platform the 2009 show, will focus on developing a response to the current slowdown and gearing up for the market’s recovery.

One of Equip Auto’s main aims will be to stimulate business between exhibitors and visitors, and the show’s first major initiative is to open up to repair parts and equipment for all motorised vehicles.

Equip Auto is also expanding some of its sectors such as accessories and customisation equipment. The show is teaming up with PTS, the Paris Tuning Show devoted to customisation, technology and motor sports, to host a pavilion devoted to accessories.

Equip Auto is also organising the International Grands Prix for Automotive Innovation, awarded by an international jury made up of 80 journalists from 30 countries. This competition is open to all exhibitors, in all activity sectors, from design through to maintenance, including garage equipment and services.
