EP Mooney Ltd has appointed a provisional liquidator. In business for almost 36 years, with 11 franchises in seven locations employing 250 people at its peak two years ago.

 
With the meltdown of the Irish motor trade, the company went through considerable restructuring to try and cope with the collapse but unfortunately were unsuccessful in keeping the business going.

This closure of EP Mooney follows the closure of another major motor group, Belgard Motors, with the loss of 82 jobs.
