Electro Maintenance has announced that it has now achieved ISO 9001-2015 certification, becoming the first rotating electrical specialist in Ireland to do so. The prestigious quality accreditation reflects the company’s exceptional service standards together with the hard work and dedication of the experience and knowledgeable Electro Maintenance team.

Speaking about the achievement Managing Director David Sanfey said, “Securing ISO 9001-2015 accreditation has taken lots of hard work over many months. It has entailed a comprehensive review of all aspect of company operation and has resulted in streamlined, faster and more efficient processes, something that customers will notice in terms of further enhanced service levels.”

As well as working towards ISO accreditation over recent months Electro Maintenance has also made further improvements to its website (www.electromainentance.ie) to facilitate customers during the COVID-19 crisis. This has included improved online order, click and collect services.

David says, “Despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic we have managed to maintain our service throughout the year and support many customers who provide essential products and services to front line staff and emergency organisations. We have also worked hard to make our delivery and collection operations as safe as possible in terms of social distancing and online facilities, which are now proving very popular. Over this period also, the company successfully tendered for several government contracts and were successful despite the complications that Covid -19 brought about, a result the team can be very proud of achieving."

One aspect of the business that David and the team have also worked hard on is in supply chain management, working with key suppliers to ensure customers get access to the stock they need when they need it. David comments, “We know that product supply has been an issue in some automotive sectors this year, but by working with key supplier partners across many product areas we have been able to ensure we have a comprehensive range and depth of stock to meet customer needs. We have also introduced new products across our many ranges including new lines from leading brands such as Durite, Woodauto, Robarcko and our own quality brand EM brand.”
