Although the Roger Dyson Group has earned its reputation as a leading builder of truck bodies for the vehicle recovery sector, the company is also very active in the used recovery vehicle sector and is always on the look out for quality equipment.  In recent weeks Roger has been making some significant additions to his company’s used vehicle stocks and at the same time helped out two former customers who have run into financial difficulties.

Gloucestershire firm Taylers of Woodford, recently ceased trading after 87 years and in an attempt to clear outstanding dept, MD Andrew Tayler rang Roger Dyson to see if he had any interest in the companies 15 vehicle fleet. In matter of days Roger had visited Andrew reviewed the trucks and put a deal in place to buy them. Andrew said, “Thanks to Roger we have been able to get the clean break we wanted.”

Steve Rome of St Helens based Bob Rome & Sons tells a similar story. He decided to close his business after difficulties compounded by an arson attack. He called Roger who did a deal to take his seven vehicles which included a pair of immaculate 4x4 Bedfords. Steve said, “I didn’t have to provide any guarantees or warranties – one man, one cheque, it was all completely hassle-free.”

Roger Dyson himself says “I’d much prefer to see Taylers and Bob Rome still trading, but sadly, it’s not to be. I’d like to think that in some small way we’ve helped them through what is obviously a very difficult time.”

Roger continues to be on the lookout for good quality recovery vehicles. Anyone with a vehicle to sell is encouraged to go to  HYPERLINK "http://www.rogerdyson.com" www.rogerdyson.com, click on the ‘Immediate cash collection’ link beneath the Stop Press heading and leave their details. They can also call Roger direct for a confidential discussion.
