Dust free efficiency from Mirka

The new Mirka PROS has proved to be a big hit with Irish bodyshops since its introduction late last year with its ease of handling and efficiency helping to boost productivity and improve quality in many repair workshops.

The Mirka Pneumatic Random Orbital Sander 650CV offers true dust free sanding and is packed with many advanced features for the bodyshop professional. It is ergonomically designed for user friendly operation with a hand protection cover, that protects against outgoing air discharge. This increases safety and reduces the risk of cold finger enabling the machine to be operated for longer periods.

A further innovative design feature of the sander is an advanced brake seal. This makes the backing pad oscillate rather than free spin when holding the machine in the air. This eliminates the possibility of causing deep marks in the surface when the fast rotating abrasive first comes into contact. When the tool is removed from the sanded surface the brake seal immediately brakes the rotation speed of the pad. The long life brake seal also contributes to improved dust extraction by minimising the internal suction leakage. The new backing pad also has a central air inlet which results in improved air flow and helps extract dust away from the centre of the tool efficiently.

Mirka say the PROS can provide a total sanding solution that delivers real cost reduction benefits to customers. The robust sander is designed to work in harmony with Mirka accessories and the advanced NET sanding abrasives range.

The Mirka PROS is available in 5mm and 8mm orbits from all Mirka stockists. For more information call 0044 1908 375533, or email housesalesuk@mirka.com
