Share:

Dublin is one of the worst cities in Europe for traffic congestion, according to a survey by sat-nav company Tom-Tom.  However, it is not the slowest, with Brussels, Warsaw, Wroclaw, London and Edinburgh all having even more congested roads than Ireland’s capital.

TomTom collected data from drivers using their system to see if they were being caught in congestion. The Belgian city came out worst with 37% of its roads congested each day. If you want clear city roads then head off to Stockholm, where only 6% of the roads get clogged up each day, putting it way down at 56th on the congestion list. The congestion top ten were:

1. Brussels
2.Warszawa
3.Wroclaw
4.London
5.Edinburgh
6.Dublin
7.Belfast
8.Marseille
9.Paris
10.Luxembourg
