Blue Print has introduced what it calls a “complete solution’ when it

comes to replacing the oil filter on Toyota D-4D engines. The oil filter housing on these engines offers limited access, which means the right tools are essential when replacing the existing filter with Blue Print’s ADT32118 oil filter.

The Blue Print Oil Filter Removal Tool (Part Number ADT35502) is an exact fit wrench, that enables the technician to remove and refit the end of the oil filter housing. This is complemented by the Oil Filter Drain Tool (Part Number ADT35504). The old oil filter contains oil even if the sump has been drained, so this clever tool allows the user to control the flow and direction of the remaining oil in the filter, in order to drain it, before opening the housing.
