Woodford Diagnostic & Training Services, held their first group diagnostic training course in Mallow, Co. Cork, in February. The one-day course, which was repeated on four consecutive days, was a resounding success with full course numbers attending each day. Well-respected U.K. based diagnostic instructor Dave McCall of DCM Training Services, was brought over by Woodford to lead the course and was ably assisted by Woodford’s own Robert Keith and Eugene Fitzpatrick.
Course feedback from participants was very positive and all indicated their approval of the course and intentions to attend advanced courses. This Level 1 Module course will be repeated in various locations throughout the country, followed up by more advanced modules in every aspect of diagnostic procedures. Both theory and practical course contents are designed to enable technicians to make maximum use of diagnostic equipment, thereby improving their range of services and efficiency to customers and with it increased income.
Having invested recently in industry approved training equipment, Woodford Diagnostic and Training Services technical director, Robert Keith says, training services will be an important and integral development of Woodford’s business services throughout the year and into the future. Robert being a distributor of diagnostic equipment for many years believes a range of professional, diverse and reasonably priced training services is both necessary and vital in today’s automotive market. Robert looks forward to providing such a service to Woodford’s present and future customers throughout Ireland and to the motor trade in general.
