Bodyshop equipment specialist Car-O-Liner was centre of attention in the accident repair section at the Automechanika Birmingham show. The company had a wide range of equipment on display, but one of the big stars of the show was the Car-O-Liner Tru-Point ADAS calibration system, which was being demonstrated throughout the three day event.
With ADAS calibration likely to be introduced in to both the NCT and MOT testing regimes in the coming years, both garages and bodyshops were keen to see the Car-O-Liner system in action.
Visitors to the stand were able to see first-hand how Tru-Point speeds up and simplifies the calibration process with real-time, interactive, visual indicators, intuitive and ergonomic controls and clear on-screen instructions to easily and precisely position the system to meet OEM requirements. Tru-Point eliminates the need for manual measurements or complicated guide references and also generates a 3 stage printout report as evidence, covering Target Placement, Wheel Alignment and Floor Check Compensation, meeting with all OEM specifications required for ADAS calibrations.
The expert Car-O-Liner team was on hand to answer questions from the large number of visitors to the stand a provide advice on how in-house calibration can make workshops much more efficient and provide a fast return on investment.
