Blue Print offers Jaguar XF cooling system solution

The Jaguar XF is now a quite a common sight on Irish roads as it is often one of the favoured vehicles for drivers importing cars from the UK. This means demand for aftermarket parts for this vehicle is on the rise.

Parts specialist Blue Print can supply over 50 parts for the Jaguar XF, many of which are often perceived to be dealer only, including braking and filtration and cooling components plus the XF’s expansion tank.

The Expansion tank is a vital part of the engine cooling system but over time these tanks can become brittle and leaks can develop leading to cooling system failure. Blue Print has identified that in the Jaguar XF, the engine coolant expansion tank is prone to cracking and fails around the joint between the upper and lower sections.

Blue Print supplies a replacement coolant expansion tank for the XF with an upgraded joint to prevent future premature failure. It says all of its expansion tanks are of OE matching quality, ensuring optimum performance and long service life.

When a new tank is fitted, Blue Print recommends topping up with the correct specification coolant, thoroughly checking for leaks and paying particular attention to ensuring that the level sensor is correctly fitted.

Parts to fit Jaguar XF models can be found on the Blue Print LIVE! online catalogue at www.blue-print.com/blueprintlive.
