200mph with the roof down, is one way that Bentley hopes it can convince car buyers to forget about the credit crunch and spend some € 200,000 on a new Continental GTC. Unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show, the four-seat convertible is billed as the fastest drop-top saloon in the world.

The car is powered by a massive 6.0-litre W12 engine producing some 600bhp, with a host of aerodynamic and suspension tweaks to keep it glued to the road.
