Axalta Coating Systems, the company behind the Cromax, Spies Hecker and Standox paint brands, has announced new names for the Spencer Coatings businesses that it acquired last year.

The companies are all industrial coating makers and are now intergrated into the Axalta Group. Effective 3 April 2018, Spencer Coatings Ltd in Huthwaite, England, has become Axalta Coating Systems Huthwaite UK Limited; Protega Paints Ltd in West Bromwich, England, became Axalta Coating Systems West Bromwich UK Limited; and Performance Paints Ltd in Tewkesbury, England, became Axalta Coatings Systems Tewkesbury UK Limited.

Richard Joyce, Director and Sales Manager of Industrial Coatings for Axalta Coating Systems said,  “The change of names is part of the on-going integration after a successful acquisition last year. The new Axalta brand identity encompasses product literature, labels, stationery and so on, but of course all products and services remain the same. The customers can rest assured they will be receiving the same strong service, only now it is from Axalta.”
