Chicago Pneumatic has introduced a video which demonstrates how to put an end to the problem of over tightened wheel nuts.

Using a Torque Limited Impact Wrench (CP7748TL ½”) the user simply and quickly tightens the bolts to a snug fit and uses the tools unique torque limiting function (approx. 90 – 100 Nm) knowing that the wheel nuts are snug and not over tightened. Removal is also easy with the tools 1250 Nm powerful reverse torque.

Then by using the CP8915 ½” Torque Wrench, with a torque range of between 40 to 200 Nm, they are able to completes the job to the manufacturer’s specified torque rating. This enables efficient torque level control for each tyre change job.

This CP8915 Torque Wrench provides long-lasting accuracy, at 4% per the EN ISO 6789:2003 standard and up to 25,000 cycles. Users also benefit from the ergonomics of torque adjustment with manual locking in front of the handle and the fine scale graduation (1 Nm) of the CP torque wrench. It also offers other additional user-friendly features such as; a lightweight, yet robust, aluminium handle resistant to common chemicals and sensitive and sound signals when reaching the torque.
