AkzoNobel has announced the extension of its Pan-European partnership with Mazda Europe. The agreement will see the company supplying its Sikkens and Lesonal refinish systems to Mazda and delivering additional business support to its European network.
The two organisations have worked hand-in-hand since 2010 to deliver technical and business benefits to Mazda’s European bodyshop network in a number of countries. The new agreement will include the development of a new training program to bolster the existing paint warranty support and help bodyshop technicians identify any paint defects.
Phil Coady, Director Market Development EMEA, Automotive & Aerospace Coatings at AkzoNobel, commented, “When it comes to quality, performance and profitability we are delighted that Mazda has chosen to strengthen its relationship with AkzoNobel and take advantage of the added value that this partnership brings.”
Axel Schunck, Senior Manager Aftersales Operations at Mazda Motor Europe, said, “This is the next stage in our successful relationship with AkzoNobel which, thanks to its advanced technical support and skills training, enables Mazda to deliver the very highest possible standards in bodyshop repair and refinishing.”
