A new strategic deal has been signed between global paint and coatings supplier AkzoNobel and global car maker Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A. The deal is set to bring AkzoNobel’s premium paints and services to customers of the FGA and Chrysler Group across Europe.

The important five year agreement was signed recently in Turin and means that AkzoNobel will supply FGA’s bodyshops with its Sikkens and Lesonal Car Refinishing brands until 2018. AkzoNobel say these advanced, environmentally friendly paints will enable over 2,000 of Fiat Group’s European repair service centres to deliver a top quality service to their customers and strengthen the Fiat Group’s performance in the aftersales sector.

Montserrat Lafuente, AkzoNobel EMEA Key Account Manager commented, “As a company, we are proud of this new partnership with Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A. We share key goals such as quality, sustainability, safety and customer satisfaction.”

Keith Malik, Strategic Sales Manager EMEA, added,  “This agreement is a valuable achievement for both of us. I am sure that the technical and repair staff of both groups will bring all their passion to this partnership, and I look forward to us achieving maximum success together across Europe.”
