UFI Filters’ multifunctional filtration module offers an extremely compact diesel engine filter for FTP Industrial’s F28 Stage V engine.

A key advantage of the filter is the integration of multiple functions in an aluminium die-cast compact module that houses the filter and pre-filter and combines the priming pump, heater, temperature and water presence sensors.

With the engine’s primary use in harsh agricultural applications, the temperature sensor and heater are key in ensuring high productivity and low fuel consumption. The priming pump is used when replacing the filter to correctly recharge the fuel in the circuit.

The state-of-the-art pre-filter allows the coarsest particles to be filtered from the diesel and additionally separates any water present from the fuel. A liquid sensor indicates when it is time to empty the separated water with an integrated purge tap.

The pre-filter has a mixed cellulose and synthetic filter media, developed by UFI according to its FormulaUFI.H2O material specifications, which allows a replacement interval of up to 600 working hours.

UFI Filters has launched a spare filter for the FPT F28 engine and will launch a pre-filter shortly.
