Suspension damage on the increase

Latest figures from the RAC in the UK show that there has been a major increase in suspension faults caused by poor quality road surfaces.

The motoring organisation says that suspension issues were 33% up in 2015 according to its call out data. There was also a major increase in call outs for wiring faults on hybrid cars.

The poor state of local roads particularly after storm damage was blamed for many incidents. Meanwhile the rise in hybrid wiring issues was mainly attributed to increased hybrid vehicle numbers. Flat batteries remain the most call out for RAC patrols.
