The recent addition of 320 new part numbers means that Somora now has the most comprehensive range of window regulators on the Irish market, offering both motor factors and garages a significant opportunity for additional sales.

Window regulators on certain models are prone to failure and the initial reaction of many garages is to turn to manufacturer for replacement. However, in its Polytechica 80 range, Somora can offer a comprehensive and high quality to solution to most needs.

Somora MD, Cormac Moore says, "Polytechica are true experts in this specialist field and reverse engineer many of the replacements they produce so that they perform better and for longer than the original.” He adds, "They also have extensive knowledge of parts that are most likely to fail and can tailor the range accordingly.”

Somora suppliers these regulators well packaged and clearly labelled with the vehicle application for easy product identification. Cormac points out that regulators often fail in winter due to ice and are also prone to summer failure because of greater usage, meaning demand throughout the year. He also says that most motorist do not realise that if a driver’s window is not working a car will fail its NCT because it places a restriction on hand signals.

Cormac says that prices on Somora regulators are very competitive and the company has all the products required to satisfy demand on popular models and even niche vehicles where demand is high. He comments, "We offer everything from fast moving regulators for certain Renault models to parts for the Audi TT. We can even supply a manual replacement for the rear door on the Fiat Grande Punto which many customers have asked for recently.”

The Somora window regulator range is available from stockist nationwide. For VRN application look-up visit www.somora.ie
