Oscilloscope experts PICO Technologies, will show how both beginners and experienced users, can make the most of oscilloscope tools at Autoinform LIVE, Ireland’s largest ever automotive aftermarket training event in April.

In the same way that a moving film can convey much more information than a simple photo, an Oscilloscope can provide a complete moving picture when it comes to vehicle diagnostics, rather than the quick snap-shot offered by normal testing tools. However, many technicians remain unsure about the benefits an oscilloscope can offer, or, if they have invested in a scope they might only be skimming the surface of its potential.

At Autoinform LIVE Ireland, two technical experts from PICO Technologies, will show technicians and garage owners how oscilloscopes can make diagnostics quicker and more precise and open up new business opportunities.

Jon Parker will demystify the oscilloscope and guide attendees through how to use a scope for basic checks and everyday diagnostics. This training session is aimed at oscilloscope beginners and will show how they can quickly integrate this vital tool so that it plays an integral time saving part in everyday work. Jon will show how to capture and analyse data, to solve a whole host of diagnostic problems. Jon will be presenting in Autoinform Booking Group B.

For experienced users, PICO’s Steve Smith, will build on technician’s oscilloscope knowledge and capabilities and help them unlock the true potential of this equipment. Steve will show you how to diagnose and identify CAN faults and will demonstrate CAN analysis and fault finding methods. The sessions will include an investigation of a live, real-time fault, to give attendees practical experience of applying this methodology. Steve will be presenting in Autoinform Booking Group C.

Oscilloscopes will have a huge role to play in the future of the independent garage and these PICO training sessions will help technicians and garage owners to realise their true potential. The PICO experts are just two of the hugely impressive line-up of presenters and trainers that will be sharing their knowledge at Autoinform LIVE Ireland, helping garages to more effectively tackle the workshop problems of today and rise to challenges of tomorrow.
Autoinform LIVE takes place on Saturday April 27th and Sunday April 28th at the J&S Munster depot in Little Island, Cork.
For telephone bookings and more information please call 01-905-9500 and select option 3.
