There was success for the NGK-sponsored Mission Racing team at the latest round of the 2017 British Superbike Championship.


The team, pictured wearing ignition specialist NGK’s 'We've got your back' T-shirts, njoyed a successful weekend racing at Knockhill in Scotland with impressive displays by riders Chrissy Rouse and Jordan Gilbert.

Chrissy scored a second place finish on Sunday in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship event, his second podium of the season.

Jordan in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 went one better, qualifying in third position and in his only race on Sunday he quickly took the lead where he remained to win his first-ever stock 600 race by more than eight seconds.

Paul Wheatley, Sales Representative for NGK Spark Plugs, who played host to a group of NGK customers at the event, said, “It was a fantastic performance by the Mission Racing riders and I've had great feedback from my customers who had the hospitality experience. They enjoyed the racing and the involvement with the team who looked great in their NGK 'We've got your back' T-shirts.”
