In addition to an impressive stand that displayed a wide range of original equipment power transmission products, Dayco ran a number of daily interactive presentations at Automechanika Birmingham. The aim was educate and inform technicians, highlighting the solution to common problems and stressing the importance of care and attention to detail when fitting a timing belt.

Dayco also featured in the main technical seminar programme where Glen Goldstone, Dayco’s Technical Manager, gave a practical guide on how to correctly undertake timing belt replacement, delivered in a manner that technicians could connect with.

Steve Carolan, Dayco’s National Sales Manager said, “Presenting technical information is an important objective for us, which is why, as well as Automechanika Birmingham, we are exhibiting at other shows and have partnered with the Autotech 2017 training initiative and will be present at their Big Day Out training event. On all these occasions we will be making these presentations in order to make a practical difference to the technician and make their working lives easier.”
