Visitors to The NGK stand at this year’s Motorcycle Live show will have the chance to test their reaction times on a Speedway bike formerly owned by triple World champion Greg Hancock.

Ignition specialist NGK Spark Plugs, sponsor Greg and have also purchased one of his old bikes. This has been specially fitted with a clutch release reaction tester so that motorcycle enthusiasts can test their skills on the stand at the show which is being held at the NEC, Birmingham on November 19-27th.

Californian Greg is currently leading the 2016 Speedway World championship and is renowned for his lightning fast reactions at the start of races. NGK Spark Plugs Marketing Manager, Mark Hallam, said,  “We are delighted that we have been able to obtain one of Greg’s bikes and we are planning to debut the ‘reaction tester’ on our stand at Motorcycle Live. We have sponsored Greg for a number of years and I’m sure the opportunity for visitors to test their reaction times will be a big attraction, not only for Speedway fans but for all motorcycling enthusiasts. There will be a prize for the fastest reaction time on each day of the show.”

Visitors will also have the opportunity of obtaining a limited number of special baseball caps signed by Greg in return for a minimum donation to the Down’s Syndrome Association.

This year’s Motorcycle Live will feature non-stop interactive entertainment, classic, custom and special anniversary displays, celebrity appearances and the highly popular FMX Live Arena. More than 33 of the world’s leading motorcycle manufacturers are exhibiting alongside NGK, showcasing not only their existing models, but also their 2017 machinery for the first time.
