ContiTech has completely revamped its website for belt drive components for the automotive aftermarket adding an attractive new look, new functionality and language options.

Markus Pirsch, Head of the Marketing Service at ContiTech comments on the changes, “We have reduced the content to the essentials and structured the site more clearly.  A navigation bar provides an overview of the product groups and services and the Product Information Centre (PIC) and the online application guide are also incorporated in the navigation bar. This results is the site being clearer and easier to navigate.”

The site can also be accessed from the ContiTech and Continental websites, as well as directly at www.contitech.de/aam. It is now available in 16 languages, with Romanian, Dutch, Croatian, Finnish, Greek and Czech added.

Apart from the revamped website, the online application guide and the Product Information Centre are also being overhauled at present to ensure a seamless fit with the design and user-friendliness of the new website. The new online guide will be published shortly, and the new PIC will be launched in the autumn.

The PIC has proved extremely popular since its introduction with around 2.5 million hits last year. It provides easy access and comprehensive online product information. Once an article number has been input at www.contitech.de/pic, the system displays all the relevant information which is always up to date, without any need to register or log in first. A code from the product packaging allows users to download fitting instructions. Mobile devices can access a mobile version of the PIC directly via the QR code on the product packaging.
