Component supplier Blue Print is urging garages to ensure they are selecting products of appropriate quality when replacing brake pads and discs to ensure that vehicle safety is maintained.


Blue Print says the key to optimum performance is the quality of the brake parts being fitted. This also ensures a long service life and avoids excessive wear between service intervals. All Blue Print brake products are of OE matching quality and subject to a stringent internal quality control test processes to ensure they meet the increasing demands of the road while contributing to road safety.

Blue Print’s Brake Discs have anti-corrosion paint applied, ensuring long-lasting performance, as well as being balanced to minimise resonance and torsional vibration. The discs are also subjected to rigorous salt spray testing to ensure excellent corrosion resistance.

All Blue Print Brake Pad applications are approved in accordance with ECE R-90 regulations and are scorched to a temperature between 600-700°C. In addition to this they are also painted with powder epoxy paint to ensure a black silk finish. Anti-squeal lubricant is applied in all pad sets.

Blue Print offers over 4,880 braking components covering all makes and models. Every braking product is researched, designed and manufactured to meet OE specified standards and undergos stringent and regular quality checks to ensure optimum performance and long service life.
