Bartec Auto ID recently held a behind-the-scenes media day at its HQ in Yorkshire and was delighted with the response.

Bartec is a family-owned group of companies, established in the early 1990s and specialising in radio frequency systems. It has become the world leader in tyre pressure monitoring tools and systems for both the aftermarket, car plants and wheel and tyre assembly plants.

The TPMS experts opened the doors of its impressive Barnsley facility to editors and journalists from the automotive press and provided expert demonstrations, featuring Bartec’s award-winning tools. The occasion also saw the launch of its new training centre.

At the start of proceedings, Managing Director, Colin Webb, formally welcomed the visitors with a short presentation, sharing the company’s background, products, including the market-leading TECH500SDE and the new TAP100 tread and pressure tool, as well as its vision for the aftermarket.

The whole occasion was hailed as a success by Colin: “I was delighted by the turnout and the enthusiasm shown towards the Bartec brand and our portfolio of products and tools. Every member of the Bartec family also played their part to ensure the day went according to plan.”
