Automechanika Frankfurt was a very special event for parts supplier Japanparts as the company celebrated its 30th Anniversary in the aftermarket. The parts specialist also used the opportunity to introduce many new additions to its product line-up including its new European range of water pumps.

Know as a specialist in parts for Asian and American Japanparts has been steadily increasing its coverage for European cars under its “Yes We Have” initiative. This means it can now offer a comprehensive European range for water pumps, covering 95% of vehicles on the road. The range will include more than 1.000 part numbers available for Asian, European and American vehicles. These pumps will be backed by a 24-month guarantee and will have a quality specification in line with the original part.

Japanparts says that generally water pumps need to be replaced at the same time as the timing belt, or otherwise after 4 years or 100.000 Km. However it may often need to be replaced earlier due to wear of the moving parts due to poor quality cooling liquid, mixtures with fuel or exhaust gas or oil, leakage in seals, noise from the bearing due to premature failure or misalignment, or damage to the O-rings or to the stuffing box, with more or less evident spills.

At Automechanika Japanparts also presented new product additions to its, shock absorber, ABS Sensor, EGR Valve and ignition coils range.
