Somora Motor parts has introduced a comprehensive new range of coil spring from the highly respected European manufacturer CS-Germany.

The company has over 40 years experience in the coil spring sector and offers a complete range of springs for the aftermarket covering all European and Asian cars. It has been consistently successful in its domestic German market and in many other markets across Western and Eastern Europe both under its own name and as a manufacturer for other component brands.

The introduction by Somora sees CS-Germany products available on the Irish market for the first time and Stephen Lawless of Somora says the reaction has already been very positive. He comments, “We have already introduced certain products from the range to selected customers and they have all been very impressed by what they have seen. These are top quality springs that are precision engineered to OEM standards and this is reflected with an unmatched 10 year warranty. These products are also very competitively priced to offer garages excellent value.”

CS-Germany springs are manufactured on state-of-the-art CNC automatic coiling machines using Infra-red controlled heat treatment equipment, CNC grinding machines and fully automatic CNC chamfering and heat setting machines, as well as cutting-edge corrosion protection technologies to guarantee quality. The springs use exclusively high quality chrome silicon or chrome vanadium spring steel with a tensile strength of up to 2,100 MPa, while thermo-stress peening extends the lifespan of the springs significantly as compared to conventional shot peened springs.

The GS-Germany range includes over 3,000 spring types for more than 50,000 applications. This covers coil springs, miniblock springs, side load springs (banana-springs), C springs and leaf springs. The range also includes reinforced premium springs especially suited to rough driving conditions, as may be experienced on Irish rural roads. The range is also fully detailed on TecDoc.

Stephen comments, “We are initially offering a select range that is tuned to the needs of the Irish car parc. We will then be adding to this range on a regular basis in order to develop one of the most comprehensive coils spring offers in the Irish aftermarket.” He adds, “CS-Germany is a top quality manufacturer that we believe will complement the Somora product portfolio very well. This is the first of several exciting new range additions that we will be making over the coming months.”
