Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle main dealer Cork Truck Services has welcomed in the New Year with the appointment of Mark Twomey to the position of Truck Sales Specialist.

From Douglas, Mark brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role, having spent some 40 years working in various positions in both AIB Finance & Leasing and Lombard, specialising in the financing of heavy commercial vehicles, plant and equipment.

The move coincides with Cork Truck Services’ recent opening of a new showroom in Blarney Business Park from where all sales will now be handled. All service requirements will be carried out, as before, at their premises on the Old Mallow Road.

Commenting on the appointment, the company's Dealer Principal, Stephen Ferriter said: “We are delighted to welcome Mark on board at an exciting time for us. His appointment, coupled with the opening of our new showroom, underlines the expansion our business is undergoing at a time of growth in the popularity of the Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles brand in our region.”
