Tallaght Powder Coating enters the dry ice age
Share:

Tallaght Powder Coating Ltd has introduced an evolutionary new dry ice cleaning process that is ideal for thorough cleaning of engines, carburettors and many other automotive components.

The process provides a fast and effective way to strip dirt, chemicals, paints and lacquers and oil residues from components, without the need for removal or disassembly. The process can also achieve high effective cleaning without harming wiring looms, plastics and other delicate materials, in and around the engine bay.

Dry ice blasting is an innovative process that     can clean very effectively without surface erosion. This means it can offer significant cost and time saving, over normal cleaning processes and is cleaner and safer as it eliminates the need to use hazardous chemicals.

Jeff Bibby of Tallaght Powder Coating says, "This new dry ice process means we can make engines look like brand new and by cleaning in situ, it can be done without unscrewing a single nut or bolt.”

The process is also fast, as a there is no drying time required and it is safe for sensitive components as it removes contaminates, without damage to wiring, electrics, belts or plastics.
