Mobiletron was once again demonstrating its expertise and innovative products in automotive electronics at Automechanika. Of special interest to many visitors to the stand was the Mobiletron offering in the fast expanding sector of tyre pressure monitoring sensors and equipment.

The company recently added to its TPMS range with a brand new wirelessly programmable Combi TPMS sensor for the European aftermarket. The Combi sensor is a next generation universal sensor which can work at both 433MHz for European applications and 315MHz for American and Asian applications. It means the sensor can offer coverage on 96% of direct TPMS enabled vehicles without the need for multiple different sensors to be stocked. It is also equipped with an integrated memory chip to store more complete and self-contained protocols, allowing limitless protocol additions for the future as new vehicles and sensors arrive on the market.

For quick and easy programming of the Combi TPMS sensor, Mobiletrons PT46 TPMS diagnostic tool was on display. This unit can be used with optional ATEQ OBDII module and includes 1 year’s free software updates. The PT46 is economical and packed with essential features such as sensor activation, programming and ECU resets.

Through it range of sensors and programming tools Mobiletron aims to offer garages of all sizes a complete package that can open up the potential of the rapidly developing TPMS sector.
