This November, ELVES will once again be offering free Electric Vehicle dismantling training to Authorised Treatment Facilities in Ireland. ELVES’ EV training programme for ATFs has been running since 2019 and has seen training delivered to over 200 ATF staff so far.

This round of training will be offered in Naas, Co. Kildare on the 11th and 12th of November, and then in Scotstown, Co. Monaghan on the 13th of November. This training will provide ATFs the opportunity to gain a level 2 and/or level 3 qualification as an EV Dismantling Technician.

The training will be delivered by Salvage Wire Ltd, specialists in EV training for ATFs.  The training provides ATF staff with a grounding in EV safety, including the key steps involved in safely removing a battery from an end-of-life electric vehicle.
