PointX the latest lightweight, efficient and easy to use measuring arm from bodyshop equipment experts Car-O-liner, is making a big impact with bodyhops in Ireland.

Car-O-Liner National Sales Manager, Stuart Alexander, says the response to the tool from Irish accident repairers has been tremendous. He comments, "PointX is now being used by a wide range of bodyshops in Ireland, from larger dealer bodyshops to small one and two man operations.” He adds, "Customers who start to use PointX often wonder how they used to manage without it because it is such an intelligent, time saving tool that provides essential repair data.”

PointX can help a bodyshop to more easily identify structural damage and the time of the estimate. This cannot only boost job profitability, but also avoids costly delays that can be caused by the need for supplementary estimates of damage not initial spotted by visual inspection alone.

The simple to use device is constructed in super lightweight carbon fibre making it easy for technicians to manoeuvre. It provides a quick and accurate damage analysis, complete with precise measuring and full computerised documentation. It features automatic height calculation as well as full upper body Point-To-Point measurement capability which dramatically speeds up the measuring process.

PointX can connect wirelessly to Car-O-Liner Vision2 Software which includes measurement data for over 7,000 measured vehicles. The equipment is also compatible with Car-O-Tronic electronic measuring system adapters.

For more information or to arrange a demonstration call Car-O-Liner on 0044-1788-574-157 or visit www.car-o-liner.com. Car-O-Liner will also be exhibiting at the forthcoming ABP Club meeting in Dublin which takes place at Croke Park on September 10th.
