Automechanika Birmingham to host industry future skills day on June 7th

The Automechanika Birmingham organisers have announced their intention to hold a "Future Skills” day focussed on the training priorities and meeting the needs of emerging technologies in the sector and to address the industry skills gap at this year’s event.


On Thursday 7th June the trade exhibition will be dedicated to the issue of future skills and will host a series of initiatives to cater for anyone with an interest in skills, training and development. The day will be relevant to employers, industry bodies, employees, training providers, recruiters, or graduates looking for opportunities in the automotive sector. Activities will include include:

• A series of free seminars focussed solely on future skills
• 1 day table top training and recruitment fair
• A trail displaying the latest technologies and innovations in the automotive industry from over 55 market-leading exhibitors
• Networking opportunities for everyone with a vested interest in this important issue

Anyone interested in being involved can express a interest by completing a 2 minutes online survey to show their level of interest in getting involved, options include taking a  stand, attending, sponsoring, speaking or bringing a group.
