UFI Filters, a leader in filtration and the production of heat exchangers for combustion, electric and hybrid vehicles, has joined Autodistribution International’s (ADI) supplier portfolio. The move is anticipated to result in expanding both its UFI and SOFIMA brands.

ADI is one of the leading networks in the independent aftermarket and is present in 49 countries in Europe, North Africa and Central Asia, where it has 24 partners, 600 distributors, 3,000 points of sale and a network of 10,000 workshops.

With its Original Equipment pedigree, the UFI Filters Group joins the portfolio of over 40 suppliers in one of the most prestigious networks for the automotive Aftermarket, which generates a business of 7.5 billion euros in the passenger car and heavy duty sectors.

The partnership with ADI is an important step for UFI Filters to grow market share and turnover across both the UFI and SOFIMA brands in Europe and beyond, with double-digit sales growth expected in the next few years.

Onofrio Defina, COO and Sales & Marketing Aftermarket Director, EMEA, UFI Filters, commented, ”We are aware of the importance of networks and are extremely proud of this valuable partnership. It constitutes another step in the UFI Filters Group's organic growth strategy, which has seen us establish partnerships with other international groups since 2014. We want to offer the market our technological strength and logistical flexibility, and we have the added advantage of being an OE-supplier to the most important brands in the passenger car and heavy duty sectors.”

ADI Managing Director, Manuel Van Royen, said, “We are pleased to welcome UFI Filters as a new partner to our supply base. This is another step towards our continuous goal of extending the range of our offer to the automotive aftermarket with high-quality products.”
