Somora Motor Parts has kicked off 2022 with a major expansion of its product range introducing two new exciting high quality brands and expanding range and availability on other key product lines. 

The headline news is that the Dublin based distributor has become an official Irish distributor for the highly respect Nissens range of engine cooling, climate systems and efficiency and emission components for the automotive aftermarket.

Nissens has approaching 100 years of thermal know-how and manufacturing experience and in recent years has developed an extensive and high quality aftermarket component offering with special emphasis on cooling and climate systems. Here the company offers comprehensive coverage on European, Asian and American vehicle brands, with a consolidated high quality stock offering backed up by outstanding technical information and expertise. In more recent years Nissens has successfully expanded into emission and efficiency components such as Intercoolers, Turbos, Oil Feed Pipes and EGR Valves. 

The initial concentration of Somora will be on radiators, with a complete range of other components following including; Condensers, Compressors, Blowers, Receiver Dryers, Evaporators, Heaters, AC Fans, Expansion Valves, Oil Coolers, Fan Clutches, Expansion Tanks and water pumps. The range is constantly updated with ‘First to Market’ items regularly added. 

Somora has also announced a major expansion of its recently introduced LPR Braking range. Italian company LPR is well known for the quality of its ISO accredited braking products, combining this with excellent value and coverage. The Somora LPR range has been especially tailored to the demand of the Irish market and stock has been increased to meet rising demand. 

The range of pads has been especially well received and customers liking the option of coated or non coated discs to suit differing needs and budgets. 

A further area of expansion for Somora is with the much respected AL-KO Vehicle Technology range. Somora has just added AL-KO Shock Absorbers which offer a smart solution for OE Matching replacement parts, and provide a better balance between safety and comfort, improving the driver's confidence in the vehicle and achieving greater safety.
