Schaeffler has announced the launch of an exciting new REPXPERT video series, ‘Wrenches and Wisdom’. The first series, scheduled for filming this autumn, will put the spotlight on apprenticeships.

“We are calling on garages to register their interest in participating and sharing their unique perspectives,” said Matthew Selby, Sales and Marketing Director at Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your personal journey into the trade, just as Colin Denton did at the recent REPXPERT Conference, or to offer innovative ideas on how to engage and inspire the next generation of automotive technicians.”

Exploring the journeys of those who have made a successful career in the garage industry and seeking valuable insights on how to best attract fresh talent, the first series will take viewers on a tour of UK and Ireland workshops. The aim is to highlight real-life stories and experiences from garage owners and technicians.

“Independent garages, technicians and the apprentices that work within them are the backbone of the automotive aftermarket,” said Matthew. “Their stories and insights are invaluable.

“By participating in filming, they have a unique opportunity to raise awareness of key issues within our industry and provide a platform to discuss and develop possible solutions. It’s not just about sharing experiences, it’s also about fostering a community that supports and uplifts one another.”

Garage owners, technicians, and apprentices interested in being featured in the ‘Wrenches and Wisdom’ video series are invited to express their interest online here: https://oeparts.typeform.com/to/i5Aitdp7. Alternatively, they can email: info@repxpert.co.uk.
