Celebrity Chef and Volvo brand ambassador, Clodagh McKenna enthralled a large crowd with her Christmas Cookery Demonstration at the Motorpark Athlone showrooms, to celebrate the official opening of the Volvo showrooms in December.

Fresh Crab Cakes and Lime Guacamole, Spiced Cranberry Sauce and Christmas Tiramisu were just a few of the delights for sampling. In true celebrity fashion, Clodagh interacted brilliantly with the audience of over 100 people.

Clodagh has recently become a hit in the States with a regular slot on the Oprah Winfrey Network’s Nate Berkus show. Her most recent cookbook, Homemade, has been awarded the prestigious Gourmand award for Best in the UK category.

Cormac Lally represented the Midlands Simon Community as a raffle took place with all funds kindly donated to the worthwhile charity.

Motorpark Athlone have been recently appointed Volvo main dealers for Athlone and the Midlands.  The showrooms were officially opened in December as Gerard Halloran, General Manager of the Motorpark Group and Adrian Yeates, Head of Volvo Sales welcomed all new Volvo customers to the showroom and announced the future plans of Volvo in the Midlands.
