Original equipment wiper blade manufacturer, TRICO, has been presented with the Product of the Year award for its Flex range, by A1 Motor Stores, at its annual convention.


For more than a decade, TRICO and A1 Motor Stores have enjoyed a strong business relationship, with members able to offer their customers a range of wiper blades that boast OE quality, safety and performance.

After relaunching in 2020, the Flex range offering provides increased vehicle coverage, including the latest fitment for late Mercedes A-Class, B-Class and C-Class models, as well as being precision engineered with the latest TRICO OE blade structure.

The Flex range utilises TRICO’s innovative new TRICO SYNCTM connection system, with five clips covering the nine most-popular wiper arm types, which can be added or removed in just one second  and newly-designed laser cut beam technology for superior pressure distribution.

In response to customer feedback, a new ‘top mount’ retro-fit connection system has been developed to upgrade older style conventional blades to modern beam technology, with an even sleeker styling than previously. The Flex range also allows customers to step-up from the conventional wiper to premium beam blade technology at a reasonable price.

For these reasons that the range was recognised with the Product of the Year award by A1 Motor Stores. First Brand’s Group Brand & Marketing Manager (Europe), Sam Robinson, commented, “I am absolutely delighted that TRICO has won A1’s Product of the Year award. We worked very hard on the redesign and relaunch of the Flex range to ensure it remains ‘best in class’ in terms of multi-fit wiper blade ranges, and winning this award pays testament to that.”
