MAM Software announced that its Automate package has been chosen by Standard Motor Products Europe (SMPE), a leading European manufacturer and distributor of automotive components, to manage its catalogue data. Automate will from now, help SMPE maintain its data and publish it on a daily basis to MAM's Autocat+ parts catalogue.

Standard Motor Products Europe’s prime engine management brands include Intermotor, Fuel Parts, FP Original, Kerr Nelson and Lemark. SMPE is also a leading supplier of catalytic converters through the Fuel Parts brand and distributes Sofima Filters and AP clutches.

Incorporating MAM's unique Make Model Index (MMI), Automate will enable SMPE to develop a consistent data structure, which will improve catalogue matching and increase customer confidence. Automate will verify SMPE's data, produce reject reports and help them perform gap analysis. It will also highlight new vehicle models and facilitate the conversion of data arriving from its European headquarters.

Gary Logan, Product Development Manager at Standard Motor Products Europe said, "The inclusion of the Automate program into our data processing has led to a significant, positive change in the quality of our data on Autocat+. This, together with the ability to send updates daily, makes the Automate program a must have for suppliers who wish to fully support customers that use Autocat+ as their primary source of application data.”

MAM software packages are available in Ireland from RNH. For more information call 01-626-0155 or visit www.rnh.ie.
